About Dr. Conial Caldwell, Jr.
Dr. Conial Caldwell, Jr. is a scholar, educator, and consultant specializing in family systems, fatherhood, youth development, and community-engaged research.
He holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Applied Social Science with a concentration in Public Administration from Florida A&M University, a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida, and a PhD in Social Work from Louisiana State University, where his research focused on fatherhood, families, and community-centered practice.
Dr. Caldwell’s work is grounded in community-based participatory action research, a model that centers lived experience, community voice, and equity in program design, policy development, and organizational strategy.
With over a decade of experience across nonprofit, government, clinical, and academic settings,
Dr. Caldwell has served as:
- A youth nonprofit administrator increasing graduation and college entry among urban male youth
- An adolescent outpatient counselor
- A Grants Management Specialist with the District of Columbia Department of Health
- A school social worker
- An Assistant Professor teaching policy and research methods
Through Bridgepoint, Dr. Caldwell partners with corporations, schools, nonprofits, and public agencies to design data-driven strategies that improve outcomes, strengthen engagement, and build sustainable, high-impact initiatives.
